For many people, like myself, stress is never ending. There is always something going on that causes us to feel anxiety. Even when I think of trying not to get stressed out, I end up getting more stressed out than intended. I no way have severe, doctor diagnosed anxiety, but I have, what many people feel on the day to day basis, normal stress. Mine has to do a lot with tests, people, oh and here is comes....the future. Over the years, I discovered different ways to cope with stress and to relax more. I though I would share some of my ways with you in hopes it can help.
Into The Gloss, hands down, has to be one of my favorite blogs to wake up to. They house a variety of content regarding beauty and fashion; from beauty regimens of influential/up-and-coming people to the in depth benefits of Vitamin C. So when they started Glossier, their product line of skincare and makeup, I was beyond ecstatic because they UNDERSTAND beauty. When all you do is review and analyze beauty products you start to realize what you want and need in your routine.
When we think of spring, we might think of green grass, blue skies, and of course, the bright flowers. Then there are days when all we see is rain, gray skies, and dull plants. However, there is beauty to found in everything, even the weather....Ok, I have literally no clue where I was going with that, but what I was trying to say is that this spring I want to use more dusty rose lip shades instead of the intense bright lips which is common this season. I thought I would share a few of my favorites.
I realized that I have not done my formal 'What I got for my birthday' post which is strange considering my birthday was two months ago. To be quite honest I think I put this post on hold because the things I asked for was on the more nerdy/nostalgic side of my personality. However, I really want to thank all my friends and family who gave me presents on this occasion. I want to mention a thank my to my friends Liz, Savannah, and Allison for taking me out for dinner on my birthday. They paid for my meals and I am truly grateful ^_^
With every new season, comes new feelings, and with new feelings comes NEW MAKEUP! A few days ago I went to Sephora because my sister needed something and I decided to do a full face of makeup while I was there. The outcome are the pictures above (note: I did edit out some HUGE zits. I also increased the saturation, vibrancy, brightness, and contrast because the photos were very washed out).
