Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

Aloha~ Today, I have a makeup review for y'all. I will be reviewing the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream, which is the direct counterpart of the Maybelline Dream BB Cream. However,  I want to take the time to thank all of you for the wonderful and supportive comments that you guys left on my short hiatus post. I could not have done as well on the post without your support. ^_^

I got this in the shade medium sheer about six months ago from Target. It retailed for around eight to ten dollars, I cannot really remember the price because it was such a long time ago >.< The only thing that makes this BB Cream different from the original is that it has Salicylic Acid to help with acne.

Regarding the packaging, I think that the combination of the light blue and the white/skin color gradient is very beautiful. The packaging really drew me in to purchase it instead of the original. For the price, I was hoping this BB Cream came with some more product. It only comes with a sad 1.0 FL.OZ (30 ml).

As for the actual product, I am going to get to the point, I do not like it. When the product is applied it has a very dull and gray color, which does not do much for my skin and a pretty much anyone's skin. It does slightly adjust to my undertone, but still has that dull look. When set, the product creates a rough looking texture on my skin, which is not something I like.

I really do think this BB Cream is one of the products that resembles more to a Korean BB Cream than others on the market because of acne benefits and gray undertone. I would not recommend this to anyone seeing that it makes my skin tone a lot duller and rough looking. I would try the original because I have applied to my friend and it looked nice on her skin. Maybe, next I will try the original on myself and see how these differ in color and finish.

Thanks for reading-XOXO

p.s - I have a little poll going on in the sidebar, so if can spare twenty seconds and vote, it be be awesome!

Have you tried this BB Cream?
