April Favorites 2014

Hello Everyone | Welcome to another rendition of monthly favorites. During the month I have been just changing up my skincare, but have one tiny makeup favorite ^_^  April has not been a really fun month for me, but that has not stop me from trying some new things :D

L'Oreal Oleo Oil Infused Shampoo - I honestly use any shampoo that I have for my hair. If it washes it, then its good with me. I really like this shampoo because it is thick and conforms to a thick lather. It is very luxurious feeling and leaves my hair fresh and clean.

Victoria Secret's Midnight Mimosa Body Cream - I don't use this as a body cream, but more for shaving my legs. I find that lotions stick to my legs better than shaving gels and leaves my legs soft and smooth. It is also cost efficient because it can be used as a lotion and shaving gel! It also has a baby powder scent ^_^

Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser - I finally ran out of my Maybelline Clean Express and Almay Makeup Remover Pads which took like 6-7 months to finish off. I wanted something that can go all over the face, is gentle, and moisterizes. I have always been a fan of the Pond's Face Cream, but I stopped using it because it was too rich and thick for my combination skin. The Cold Cream does a really nice job breaking down mascara, lipstick, foundation, etc; but I have yet to have tried this with waterproof makeup.

Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream {Sephora Sample} - If you look in the picture there is a little plastic tub filled with my only makeup favorite. I don't if little samples are acceptable, but I really wanted to include this because I don't know if I will buy the full-size or not. This is my first ever CC Cream and I have to say I love it. It is a sheer finish, but does cover up some redness and spots. The finish is my favorite part because it looks so natural. They only problem a full-size is $48.00 which is not something I am ready to pay for. If you are willing to splurge I highly suggest you try this.

Random Favorite // Bath and Body Works Candle Covers - If you have ever use a BBW candle, keep the lids! If you have been reading my blog, you would know that I am in the process of re-doing my room. Every morning, when I am at home, I bring a cup of coffee to my room and sit on my laptop. After spray-painting the tops of my furniture, I have been trying to avoid ruining them. I just like using the covers as coasters for my drinks. It just looks so elegant and classy in my room.

TV Favorite // Once Upon A Time - I am going to give a quick shout out to my friend Reem for introducing me to this admirable show. I watched the entire first season on Netflix a few months back, but I had no interest to continue the show not because I did not like it. Then I slept over Reem's house a month or two ago and we watched most of the second season. Basically, the show follows the life of Emma Swan when her son came out from no where and tried telling she was supposed to break the curse. Sounds really cliche, but it is actually good. You will see some very familiar story book characters. I highly suggest you watch it, the first two seasons are on Netflix and I am hooked on the third via Hulu.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I know I have not been posting frequently, I just have been very busy. Please tell what your favorites or recommendations are for me and I will surely check them out. If you have a blog, leave links so I can read and follow ^_^

Thanks for reading-XOXO
